Bio: pitched with the Florida Marlins from 01-05, before being traded to the Red Sox along with Mike Lowell for Anibal Sanchez and Hanley Ramirez. In 2003 he pitched in the World Series and beat the New York Yankees with a complete game shutout in Game 6 to clinch. His first year in Boston had a lot of good starts, as well as a lot of bad starts, and looks to maybe throw his curveball more and be a more successful pitcher in the future years in Boston.
Projected 2007 Statistics: 16-8, 4.05, 195, 160
Fantasy Outlook: high risk pick, but I think he'll turn it around a little bit and probably fill a three or four spot in your rotation. People aren't going to be jumping all over him because he struggled last season, and there aren't as many people believing in him this season compared to last.
